Family Day at the Bird Park

I have Ornithophobia. That’s a phobia of birds. Something about their feathers and flapping wings just freaks me out.

Edmund was really surprised when I asked if he wanted to go for the staff family day at the bird park. On my own, I would never pay to be near birds. Since it’s free, why not? Take it as a fully-paid excursion trip date with my hubby!

The last time I was at the bird park was 7 or 8 years ago. It was also for a company event where I got to get in free. I don’t remember much of it except being freaked out during the bird show when the bird flew over my head. Other than that, the birds were kept quite well in their places/cages and never got near me!

This time round, I got to explore the bird park more with Edmund and it turned out A LOT more interesting than I expected and remembered it to be. I was so amazed and reminded of God’s creativity.

After 2 hours at the bird park in the scorching sun, we headed home. A morning well spent!

Well done babe! Though I still cannot believe you went voluntarily, even if it were free! Your fellow Ornithophobic, Cynthia
